Very explosive.. Not tht excirted yet though! Why not? I'm not asking in a pushy way just wondering! I think I'm more excited by this then the 50th! Of course the 50th was a big milestone but it was also one of those things I was too worried all the time that MY era and MY favourites wouldn't be represented, I wasn't too sure what I really wanted out of it. It felt like a little bit of the 50th belonged to me as a fan but I also wasn't one of those people with a checklist that needed to be done. With this I just feel excited having a new Doctor, a new face to get used to a new personality to play with. Not only that Clara has only just finished being the Impossible Girl and now she's the one leading the series until the Doctor finds his feet (in story not the actual show) we'll learn about both of them now and they'll grow so much. The advert makes me excited because they've given it that little edge. Matts era was very flashy and Hollywood-ish, which isn't a bad thing as I loved Eleven and his era, but the advert and everything I've heard about season 8 makes me feel like its going to have a real English Indie scene vibe to the styling, story telling and presentation. Now I know next to nothing about what is coming, the small tidbits I have gathered have made me wish the series would hurry up. The trailer other then being visually inciting also added new mysteries! Why are we getting Dinosaurs?! In no rumour I've seen have I seen a dinosaur mentioned but there it is! As plan as the nose on my face in the trailer. The alien looks so realistic and wonderfully put together, so much better then some recent very human looking aliens. Not only that but in the trailer it doesn't look like its giving anyone any trouble and what I've found lacking recently is other then the Pasternoster gang and obviously people on the planet in, the singing one... Can't remember the name now! That one we haven't really seen any "nice" aliens, or when I say nice, its been a while since we've been set somewhere other then on a planet with human looking aliens and we haven't really had any aliens that weren't in some way our enemy. It looks like a giant change from Matt's era, and even though I loved it I like every Doctor, whether I like them or not, to have their own unique feel.
