I don't know either of my neighbours really well, in contrast to when I was growing up when we knew both of our neighbours. The one on our left is new and we got on with her but she turned into a psycho bitch the ones on the right have changed a few times, I mean the ones that live here now have been there for a good long time now but they are hardly home and you'd never see them on the street, they used to have dogs that they'd walk but got rid of them and now you'd only ever see them leave the front door to get into their car. I never bother with our neighbours, learnt a long time ago not to get involved. Our old next door neighbours on our left were friends for most of our life, their grandkid was friends with us and my mum was best friends with two of their daughters. Then we got involved when it sounded like the guy was beating on his wife and soon after that it was like war between us both. Then again they never complained or anything so they were better then these lot who complain about us talking in our kitchen at 9pm and distracting her. Yes we can't talk in our kitchen after 8pm according to her! She sounds right rough though, always shouting at her kids, have guys coming in and out of her house at all times of the day/night... But what good would saying anything do? Hahaha that sounds like a big rant about my neighbours maybe not the best topic for me . I do think it would be nice to live somewhere were you COULD know all your neighbours though, I mean our street is a long LONG street so if you don't know your immediate neighbours you ain't gonna know the street. When everyone did the street parties for the jubilee and all that there was never going to be a chance our street would because its on a main road so we'd have to pretty much close the whole street down. It would be nice to live somewhere a little smaller then on a main road and maybe then you'd get to know your neighbours a little bit. My sister has moved into like a little square of houses and she now knows all her neighbours and she's only been there a week or two!
