Personally, I think A Christmas Carol (one of my favourite episodes ever) and The Snowman were much more magical and Christmassy for me but there is a lot to love about The Doctor The Widow and The Wardrobe. The strong casting helped, who couldn't cry at Alexander Armstrong trying to be brave for the others in the plane, EVERYTHING Claire Skinner said and did and then Matt. Oh that wonderful man that is Matt . I have to admit I got lost the first time and what made me weepy was the Amy Pond ending .
