I don't feel that Capaldi has become the Doctor as naturally as Matt Smith did. HE ain't bad I ain't saying he's a bad Doctor but I feel many more tributes in his performances then Matt had. There are moments it feels he's trying to be more like Four or Eleven or Three, Matt obviously didn't really know much about Doctor Who so it came acroos more like Matt being a Doctor. That is only my opiniion. The stories have been great ideas so far but badly executed in my opinion. Not happy with the season.

You get in trouble for saying that though "he's still playing the Doctor" I know that! I can't help it if it actually FEELS like a actor trying to be something he's already seen. Too much of the time he feels like Tom Baker and not like his own Doctor. They've dressed him at times like Three and they are still giving him Eleven's lines (which is to be expected at the least!) Matt sometimes felt very Two-ish in his performance but it felt naturally done. Matt from the second he appeared felt like the Doctor to me. Capaldi very much looks like a fan re-enacting a Doctor he used to love.
