This is probably where the prequels got it wrong for me. Instead of making Anakin/Vader into a interesting character with a great background becoming an iconic character, we got the origin story that painted him as a sulky child. Ahhhh but only sulky children can turn to the dark side! After all if you are rational and listen to your elders why would you ever have a need to turn to anything? I will agree that Anakin was quite annoying in the prequels, I wouldn't say it didn't mesh with what he later became because ya know.... Its all about emotions and Vader was a very emotional guy. But it is all about the dramatic approach and they hammed it up big time, and there was no need for that. It is something that needs to be done well and I don't think Abrams is the right person for that. Now imagine the next Star Wars film done by Peter Jackson .
